g8 announces the completion of another significant Flex deal

g8 helps HIH Invest Real Estate UK to secure Wizu Workspace for 24,350 square feet at 2 West Regent Street in Glasgow.

Avison Young and G8 Consult, the flexible workspace consultancy founded by specialist Douglas Green, were appointed late last year to find a flexible operator for the building on the corner of West Regent Street and West Nile Street in the city’s central business district.

The three floors were marketed as a “walk-in ready” opportunity for flex operators with the space left fully fitted and IT-enabled by the previous tenant Landmark Space.

The deal is for a 10-year term and will be Wizu Workspace’s first location outside its native Yorkshire, where it has four offices in Leeds as well as sites in Sheffield, Harrogate and Bradford.

The company intends to welcome its first tenants by the end of May.
