Douglas Green advises on sale of M25 Business Centre to BizSpace

Flexible workspace specialist Douglas Green has advised the shareholders of M25 Business Centres Limited on the sale of the company to BizSpace. The company owns the M25 Business Centre in Waltham Abbey, Essex, which comprises 55,000 sq ft across four storeys as well as two workshop units. The property also includes meeting rooms, break out areas and executive suites, as well as a 7,000 sq ft gym, café and on-site parking.

Douglas Green said: “I am delighted to have acted for the shareholders of M25 Business Centres Ltd on the sale of the company to BizSpace.

“We received significant interest in the business from a selection of active operators and investors who were looking for high visibility and a great flexible product within the M25 region. It was a pleasure working with the M25 team and BizSpace on this sale, and I look forward to working with them again in the future.”

Paul Zimbler, Managing Director, M25 Business Centre said: “Having first acquired a near-vacant building on the M25 in 2013, we feel through a lot of hard work and investment that the now very established M25 Business Centre, with over 80 businesses in residence, is ready for a new owner. We are delighted that BizSpace will continue to invest in the centre and support the local businesses.”

M25 Business Centre is situated between J25 and J26 of the M25 motorway and is 1.5 miles from Waltham Cross train station. BizSpace’s acquisition of M25 Business Centre brings its number of sites in the south to 11 and total number of properties across the UK to 105.

Emma Long, Commercial Director at BizSpace, commented: “We are delighted to announce our third acquisition in the last six months for the south, adding to and complementing our expanding portfolio.”
