Douglas Green is delighted to announce the sale of Lime Kiln Business Centre Ltd, Royal Wootton Bassett for an undisclosed sum.

The centre has traded successfully since it was set up some seven years ago in a beautifully restored Grade II listed property. Prior to that it was the headquarters of the local radio station and still houses a sound proofed studio it its grounds (see picture).

The deal involved the sale of the shares and assets of the trading company that ran the centre with the purchaser taking a new lease of the 6,000 sq ft. property.

Douglas Green, who negotiated the sale said: “When we initially started our confidential marketing of Lime Kiln we anticipated receiving interest for the freehold, instead we received more enquiries from operators looking to take a lease of the centre.

“As a result we negotiated terms for the sale of the trading company with a new long term lease with the tenant. Following completion, our client is now considering offers for the freehold investment.”

Commenting on the sale, Nick Good, the owner of Lime Kiln said: “This has been an incredible journey with a steep learning curve for us. We really couldn’t have achieved any of this without the specialist assistance and industry knowledge of Douglas and our lawyers. Having set up a profitable trading business we felt it important to take it to the next stage whilst retaining our option to either sell or hold onto our cherished asset.”
